The world of Gētīg is a world full of deep magick, ancient mystery, and home to the Children of Eladha. These children will are called the Fomors, the Elves, and, of course, the Humans.

The Fomors

The Fomors are humanoid in shape, they are slightly taller than humans on average, but shorter yet to their elven bretheren. This equates to around 182cm or 6ft in freedom units. A Fomors appearance is striking and vexing, as they contain aspects of both humans and elves.

A Fomor could never blend in with a human, as they have four distinguished arms, prominent horns, and two sets of ears, one elven, the other like ears of a human. These ears are seemingly stacked together to form a singular split ear.

Their skin colors can vary a wide deal too, many are similarly tinted to humans, although some bluish, greenish, and purplish tints exist among them. Their colors are seemingly genetic, and even striking still, is the fact that some of them exibhit stripes, spots, freckles, or patches that would otherwise not appear on human skin.

Aside from colourful skin, patterns, ears, and an extra set of arms, Fomors also adorn large horns atop their heads. These horns are also genetic, and are indicative of rank in some fomorian societies. These horns can also vary from antler-like to devilish in appearances.

The Elves

The elves are the most diverse race of the Children of Eladha. They were once a singular race, but elves in Gētīg were elementally prone to their surroundings, and over time, the high-elves of yore became the Four Elven Tribes of Gētīg. The elves reside mostly on the continent of Maniachaeia, and have dominated most of the continent alongside humans.

Elves are the tallest race in Gētīg, standing over humans and Fomor alike at an average height of 2m, or 6ft 5in. For the most part, many elves have pointed ears, as elves do.

The Naiads

The Naiads are one tribe of elves with the affinity for water. They can be found deep within the seas in underwater cities, but mostly stick to shorelines, rivers, and lakes deep within forests as to remain in contact with the other tribes.

Naiads tend to appear with subtly blue or green tinted skin, scaled limbs, and fish-like ears. Some may also have glowing antennae similar to that of an angler fish. Naiads also have the ability to become entirely water-bound, as most are that live within the underwater cities. Over time, these Naiads tend to grow gills, and their legs become bound into a single fin. At this point they are no longer Naiads, but Deep-Water Naiads, also known as mermaids or sirens.

The Ennedi

The Ennedi are the elves of the desert, and have many encampments or settlements along the various flooding rivers of the deserts of Maniachaeia.

The Ennedi tend to have darker skin with white markings. These markings can range between zebra stripes, or a face of constellations made of white freckles.

The Cernach

The Cernach are the elves of earth, who primarily live in deep forests of Gētīg, with their main home being the Red-Forest.

The Cernachare very similar to Humans in both appearance and culture, and as such have had a deep relationship with human settlements. These elves are easily spotted, because like the Fomor, these elven heads are adorned with antlers.

The wood elves are also prone to wearing red facepaints, often while out on hunts or performing magick rites or ceremonies.

The Zephyr

The Zephyr were once the most technologically advanced species of elves on the continent. They created magnificent cloud cities, and if they weren't in clouds, they built their cities on the highest peaks of the tallest mountains on Maniachaeia.

These elves, unsurprisingly, took on the element of air. These elves were ethereal in appearance, often radiating soft glows like a mist, eyes ranged between gold and sky blue, and often had a set of wings on their backs. Some could have up to 3 pairs of wings, giving these elves quite an angelic appearance.

Their skin not only glowed, but it was perhaps the most ethereal thing about them. It appeared metallic at times, with tones ranging from gold to silver. Caressing their skin, would also be runic-like markings that pulsated light while they flew the skies.

Unfortunately, these elves became extinct, and the cloud cities they once had fell into the oceans which became the homes for the Deep-Water Naiads. Humans hunted this sub-species of elf to extinction for various heinous reasons. Some humans thought their skin was literal gold and silver, a myth perpetuated through the ages. Others sought to take their wings and use them as their own. Mostly though, humans saw them as a threat and waged great wars in the skies of Gētīg, with humans inventing nasty and huge explosives to take down their cities and people.

The Humans

They're uh, humans. Shortest species, averaging about 167cm, or 5ft 5in.

They are among the most culturally and linguistically diverse species in Gētīg, mostly because they cant seem to stop fighting. They also live the least longest, no surprise there.
